Departure
April 20, 2012 06:07 PM PDT
[PROGRESSIVE TRANCE] After many months of design work, it became apparent that Departure was going to be one of the most solidly structured sets that I have done in this particular genre. Incorporating female vocal tracks all throughout the set really made this mix come alive, and set it apart from previously released material (hence the name "Departure"). As in all of my work, I cannot stress enough how important it is to me to keep the flow of music progressing accurately as the tracks blend and transfer into the next song. Departure brings all of this together in a neatly wrapped package of trance and progressive music that sounds more like one complete dream, instead of many separate ones. BPM 124-130

[PSY TRANCE] Like in the first Paradigm Shift series, part 2 is designed to be much faster and more intense by using tracks with BPM levels ranging from 138-145, a full 10 BPM faster than part 1. This obviously moves the Psy music into an entirely different sound, and with a linear build in BPM as the mix progresses, the intense (some might say it's borderline insanity) and agressive nature of this set becomes clear. BTW, it helps to have a MONSTER sound system to acheive the full effect of this mix. Have at it! Tracklist:

[NU SKOOL BREAKS] Heavily inspired by the movie "Step Up 3", this past Spring I started to collect tracks that I thought would work well for a dance movie soundtrack. The result is a continuous mix filled with cutting edge sounds and some of the best Nu Skool tracks available. This Epic adventure has tons of fun, hard hitting songs, that all work together as one, creating a cinematic battling breakbeat experience worth checking out. You've just been served!! Tracklist:

[EPIC TRANCE] Undergoing a small revision for 2012, "Supercruise" has been shortened to a mix length of 75 minutes, along with some extremely small transitional tweaks. Other than that, "Supercruise" combines the best high energy tracks and uplifting powerhouse anthems that today's trance has to offer. At 75 minutes in length, it makes for the perfect peak hour dance mix to get your party rockin'! Tracklist:

[PROGRESSIVE TRANCE] When it comes to story building, there is no better genre suited to match my style of mixing than Progressive Trance. The finished product of "There Is Always Hope" has great organic flow, and includes a good balance of moving vocal tracks, as well as uplifting grooving ones. Keeping the BPM's floating in the low to mid 130's is just the right pace to keep the flow of this set moving all the way to the end. Thanks for your support! Comments welcome. Tracklist:

[HARDDANCE/TECHNO] Love it or hate it, Hard Dance is definitely the most aggressive trance on the market, couple that with Hard Techno, and you've got a recipe for one mind blowing set. Relentless in delivery with incredible bass rhythms and melodic undertones, "Duck 'N' Cover" starts off at 145 BPM and steadily climbs all the way to an eye popping 160 BPM. So, if your into the harder side of trance, get ready to Duck 'N' Cover!!! Tracklist:

[PROGRESSIVE PSY] Starting off 2012 with a bang, the Paradigm Shift series is back with tons of new Psy tracks to enjoy. Following the same format as the previous two-parter, Paradigm Shift II's first part is Progressive Psy with a BPM range from 127-135, and is designed with minimal key changes to give added depth to the transitions between tracks. [NU SKOOL BREAKS] Seemlessly blending old and nu skool sounds, "Computer Generated" brings you nearly 80 minutes of today's best high energy breakbeat tracks all in one continuous mix. Built to generate momentum over the span of the set, the mix starts at 130BPM and ends at 138BPM. B-Boyz & Girlz, this one's for you. Enjoy! Tracklist:

[PSY-TRANCE] This is a progressive Psy set with a build in BPM from 137-145. Utilizing cinematic & space age sounding tracks, this deeply mixed and well integrated set will take you deep inside the music for an experience like no other. Tracklist:

[TRANCE/PROGRESSIVE] "Castles", my first Trance & Progressive set in 3 years, brings together an eclectic sound rich with beautiful harmonious melodies and powerful bass rhythms. Building in intensity all throughout the mix, then tapering off towards the end, "Castles" will not disappoint. BPM range: 130-135

[PROGRESSIVE BREAKS] This mix is part of my Progressive Breaks series. Until My Last Breath uses cinematic and melodic style breaks with a progressive build in BPM from beginning to end, and although this mix is not anywhere near high energy, it does carry a powerful and sincere feel throughout the entire set. As always, enjoy! Tracklist:

[PROGRESSIVE-PSY] On the fence about Psy-Trance? No worries, I'm not a fan of getting too crazy with my tunes either, and with the abundant selections of Psy available, it's very easy to do. This is a Psy set that I capped at around 135 BPM's, and will contain cutting edge sounds that in some regard belong more to the Progressive Trance family. This is definitely one of my best engineered mixes to date, with unbelievably clean transitions and nonstop grooves, it's one worth checking out! Hope you enjoy it! Tracklist:

[PROGRESSIVE BREAKS] It's been 10 long years since I've worked with Progressive Breaks. In fact, it was June of 2000 when I opened for "The Light" (see: Party Rewind - Live @ The Masquerade) during our summer party series with Outerlimits. In this set you'll find mostly new tracks from 2010, all with incredible production quality (props to the artists who have such great talent) that entails the best in atmosheric sounds, orchestration, and rhythm structure. One of my favorite parts of the set, about 50 minutes into the mix, is a slow breakdown track by Faskil that uses a clip from the new Battlestar Galactica series. Enjoy! Tracklist:

[PSY-TRANCE] Starting just a few BPM's higher than where part 1 left off, Paradigm Shift (Part 2) will deliver non-stop Psy-Trance action from beginning to end with a BPM range from 140-147. Just like in part 1, the tracks chosen are to borderline the Trance and Psy-Trance genre, creating an incredible Epic Psy-Trance sensation throughout the entire mix. Buckle up, because this will be one intense ride! Thanks to all my listeners, and enjoy! Tracklist:

[PROGRESSIVE-PSY]Paradigm Shift (Part 1) is a Psy-Trance mix designed with tracks that have a trance and progressive feel to them. With a BPM range from 130-137, it's a great mix for people who don't quite want to go to the extreme end of the Psy-Trance spectrum, but are craving a more sci-fi trance set. Tracklist:
Enjoy! RECON
December 01, 2009 07:17 PM PST
[DEEP/PROGRESSIVE TRANCE] This set contains a mixture of deep, melodic, and progressive trance. Incredibly well constructed, RECON is designed to provoke a wide range of emotion with each passing track, with transitions that won't disturb harmony or rhythmic basslines. From the intro with gentle rain and rolling thunder, to the two way transmissions between a spec ops team and base camp the tone of the set is established and continues for the next 78 minutes. Enjoy the journey! Tracklist:

[DEEP/PROGRESSIVE TRANCE] In this set, we will take a journey to the deepest depths of the ocean. Like a soundtrack taken straight out of a documentary about deep sea exploration, this mix will surprise you with each new song. Strategic track selection was key in making sure the songs delivered the correct rhythm and feel. From eerie to fanciful angelic sounds, this mix is an incredible production from beginning to end and every bit on par with my other production mixes like "The Factory" and "Illusions". Hope you enjoy! Tracklist:
